After the Storm

After the Storm 12 × 12 in. | Original Acrylic & Gold Leaf on Canvas

In a walnut floater frame .

There is a quiet stillness that follows the rain.

The air feels different, cleaner somehow. The world slows for a moment, and every color seems a little more alive. After the Storm was inspired by that first deep breath taken outdoors after everything has been washed clean.

Soft washes of blue, blush, and green drift together like mist lifting from the landscape, while luminous gold leaf catches the light as a reminder that beauty often reveals itself after seasons of uncertainty.

Part of the Breathe Again collection, this painting is an invitation to pause, notice, and begin again. It offers a sense of calm without feeling quiet, a gentle reminder that renewal doesn't always arrive in dramatic moments. Sometimes it comes as a shift in the light, a breath of fresh air, or the feeling that something beautiful is just beginning.

Perfect for spaces meant for rest, reflection, and everyday beauty, After the Storm brings a sense of hope, warmth, and peaceful possibility into your home.
