There is a moment when something begins to take shape, before you fully understand what it is becoming.

Out of the Depths lives in that in-between space. Deep violet forms rise through layers of saturated blue, turquoise, soft pink, and muted cream, while delicate metallic marks weave through the composition. Shapes seem to surface and retreat, giving the painting a sense of movement, as though something new is slowly revealing itself.

The piece is about becoming without needing to know the final form. About allowing ideas, identities, desires, and possibilities to exist before we have words for them. There is uncertainty in that space, but there is beauty there too.
